Vinyl hurricane window film is a clear, strong film engineered to bond with glass, creating a barrier that holds the window together in the worst of conditions. This product helps strengthen the glass on your windows and doors and can help prevent damage to your home by preventing rushing wind, water and flying debris from penetrating the glass. Unlike shutters or plywood, window film does not need to be installed each time a storm approaches. Window film provides passive protection twenty-four hours a day.

Installation of hurricane (armor) coat film includes 10ml film, and silicone gaskets (Dow Corning 995 silicone gasket around film to frame).

Installation Steps

Remove old screws, add screws per code to match color of frame
Reset screws in jam
Strip glass of any debris, tint, or adhesives
Wash glass 3 times
Place new film on glass
One week to 10 days wait time to do silicone
