Homes and lifestyles have changed since awnings were first introduced. Today's awnings have changed to fit your need for more sun protection to create a safer and cooler outdoor living space. Lateral arm awnings are the most popular style of retractable awnings for decks and large outdoor spaces. They work by mechanically drawing the fabric off a rotating drum, keeping the fabric nice and tight. Chic offers a large array of elegant retractable awnings available in a variety of colors and designs and assembled in our plant.

Hardware Components

All of our retractable awning components are built to last. The hardware features stainless steel components and slope adjusters for ease of movement, and arms operated with double stainless steel vinyl coated aircraft cable and PVC booted for longevity. The aluminum is electro statically coated making for easy cleaning and pleasing aesthetics.

Fabric

The Sunbrella worry-free fabric is fade-proof, stain resistant, and incredibly long lasting. It stands up to the elements so well that we offer a ten (10) year warranty.

Standard Projections

Variable tilt feature is available for standard awnings up to 19'1" widths and up to 11'6" projections. They allow you to position the slope of the awning higher or lower, creating maximum shade control.

Motorized Option

For the ultimate in comfort, add a motor to your awning so that you can effortlessly enjoy as much, or as little awning coverage as your mood desires.

The electric motors are fully contained within the roller tube of the retractable awning for a clean, concealed installation that blends right into the lines of your home and they are also sealed against rain. Low maintenance is required for years of trouble-free service. Of course, remote controls are an added luxury if you so desire, so you can sit back and relax while your awning unfurls above your head.
